Osičné (1107 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forested summit in the central part of the Veľká Fatra mountains, tucked into a side ridge branching off the Borišov massif. It's a spot for hikers who prefer solitude over crowded viewpoints.
The summit itself is covered by dense forest, so there's no open view from the very top, but from nearby spots with sparser vegetation you can catch glimpses of the surrounding Veľká Fatra peaks and even a slice of the Malá Fatra range. The area lies within Veľká Fatra National Park, so the landscape remains wild and largely untouched - lush greenery in summer, colorful foliage in autumn, and quiet, snow-covered valleys in winter along the Belianska and Necpalská valleys.
