1. Data Controller
The controller of personal data collected through the SummitGo.eu service is its creator. For matters related to personal data protection, you can contact us via the form available at /kontakt.
2. Scope of Data Collected
The service does not require registration or login to browse content. Personal data (name, email address, message content) is collected only through the contact form and used solely to respond to enquiries.
3. Geolocation
The "Nearby" feature uses the browser's geolocation API (navigator.geolocation). Location data is not sent to the server or stored — it is used solely to determine results in real time in your browser. Sharing your location is entirely voluntary.
4. Cookies and Analytics
The service does not use cookies for marketing or tracking purposes. The server may store standard access logs (IP address, date, time, requested page) for technical and security purposes. Logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
5. Sources of Trail and Peak Data
Data on trails, peaks and locations comes from OpenStreetMap (ODbL licence) and Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0 licence). The service is not the author of this data — full licence information can be found at openstreetmap.org and creativecommons.org.
6. Sharing Data with Third Parties
Data submitted via the contact form is not shared with third parties. The service does not use analytics or advertising tools from third parties (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and restrict the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Any changes will be published on this page. The date of the last update is shown below.
