The Falknis is a striking peak in the Rätikon range, standing right on the border between Liechtenstein and Switzerland (Grisons). Its bold, pyramid-like profile makes it one of the most recognizable summits in the Alpine Rhine Valley, and it offers a rewarding hike away from the busier trails.

From the top, hikers are treated to sweeping views over the Rhine Valley and the surrounding Rätikon peaks. The terrain is steep and rocky in its upper sections, demanding good footing and stamina, while the lower slopes retain the typical alpine pastures where livestock graze in summer. Conditions can shift quickly at this altitude, so the mountain has a wilder, more remote feel compared to nearby tourist hotspots, especially outside the summer season.
