Držník is the largest of the Hradčany Ponds, tucked away in the peaceful countryside of the former Ralsko military area. It's a place where still water and quiet woodland come together, offering a genuinely relaxing escape for anyone who loves nature and open landscapes.

Covering 14 hectares, the pond features protected aquatic vegetation and shallow areas that attract birdlife throughout the year. Its forested shores create a calm, sheltered atmosphere in every season - lively with birdsong in spring and summer, golden and reflective in autumn, and wonderfully still in winter. Walking along its banks feels like stepping into a hidden corner of the Bohemian countryside.
