Tvarožník is a solitary sandstone rock tower, roughly 25 metres tall, rising from the Hradčany Walls in northern Bohemia. It's a name known chiefly among climbers, while nearby a rugged rock complex of the same name reaches a summit of 321 metres above sea level.

The setting is a forested landscape typical of the Hradčany Hills, part of the wider Provodín Hills. The atmosphere is quiet and a little wild - narrow paths thread through the trees before the sandstone tower suddenly appears among the greenery. The meandering Ploučnice river flows nearby, adding to the charm. Summer brings cool shade beneath the trees, autumn paints the sandstone and foliage in warm contrasting tones, and winter frost can turn the rock into something almost fairy-tale-like.

• Climbing is permitted only between 1 July and 31 December, subject to applicable restrictions
• Only five climbing routes are marked here, as the sandstone is clayey and quite crumbly
• The oldest route, Alter Weg, dates from 1909 (grade IV), while the hardest routes reach VIIb

In 1909, climbers from Dresden made the first ascent and left an iron flag bearing their club's name at the summit to mark the occasion. Botanists later found critically endangered moss species growing on rocks near Tvarožník.
