Zrúbanisko (1005 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, seldom-visited peak in the Kysucká vrchovina range, perfect for hikers craving solitude far from crowded trails. With no marked path leading directly to the summit, it rewards those willing to explore off the beaten track.
Much of the massif is covered by low vegetation following past logging, while patches of forest remain on the summit and northern slopes. From the right vantage points, wide views open up across the surrounding hills of the Kysucká vrchovina, as well as the Oravská Magura and the Orava, Kysuce and Moravian-Silesian Beskids, and the Javorníky range. The area lies within the Kysuce Protected Landscape Area, giving it a wild, untouched character - especially peaceful in autumn and winter.
