The ruins of the Capuchin monastery in Mariánská are a place where silence now fills the space once alive with pilgrims and prayer. Only the perimeter walls and scattered foundation fragments remain, yet the story behind this site is one that stays with you.

Mariánská lies in the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory), close to Jáchymov and Mount Plešivec, surrounded by the gentle slopes, forests and open meadows typical of this range. In summer it's a peaceful spot for hiking and cycling, while in winter snow settles over the ruins, adding to their quiet, melancholic mood. The former settlement of Mariánská has largely been converted into private holiday cottages, making this a calm, low-key destination away from the crowds.
