Háziréti Reservoir is an artificial lake in Hungary, tucked at the border of Pilisvörösvár and Csobánka, best known as a paradise for anglers but equally pleasant for anyone wanting a peaceful walk beside open water. The lake sits in the northern part of the Solymár Valley, offering a quiet escape from the city.

Created by damming the Határ-réti-árok and Házi-réti-patak streams, the reservoir's surface fluctuates between 24.6 and 26 hectares depending on water levels, with a shoreline stretching roughly 7.2 kilometers. The lakebed is varied, with sudden drop-offs and shallow stretches, firm patches and muddy areas alike, reaching depths of up to 3.5 meters near the dam. The surrounding landscape blends shrubland and farmland, home to a rich variety of wildlife, including an impressive population of dragonflies.

• By Volánbusz bus from Budapest (lines 800, 801, 805, 810, 820) to the Solymári elágazás stop, then about 500 m on foot to the dirt track
• By BKV bus 218 to Pilisborosjenő, Téglagyári tér, then roughly 2-2.5 km on foot alongside the Határ-réti stream

• Swimming is prohibited across the entire lake
• Fishing is allowed every day of the year, subject to national and local regulations
• Maximum of 2 rods per angler, with up to 3 hooks per rod
• Fishing from the dam is forbidden, and spin fishing is banned across the whole lake
• Carp over 5 kg, grass carp over 7 kg, and pike over 70 cm are protected and must be released

The lake has produced some remarkable catches over the years - the record catfish weighed in at over 69 kg, while the record carp topped 23 kg, making it a genuine trophy-fishing destination.
