Malinový vrch is a modest but charming summit in the Jizera Mountains, rising just southwest of Bedřichov. It's a great pick if you're after an easy forest walk with a touch of history and ready-made ski infrastructure nearby.

The peak is covered in typical Jizera Mountains spruce forest, giving it a calm, quiet character in every season. In summer it makes for a pleasant, shaded walk, while in winter the surrounding slopes come alive as part of the Bedřichov ski resort, with 8 lifts and several downhill runs totaling 5.9 km stretching between 710 and 802 metres. At the top stands the old Weberova chata, built in 1928, though it has been closed to the public since 2014 - so treat the summit as a scenic and historic stop rather than a place to warm up indoors.

• From Maliník saddle (parking along the road from Liberec to Bedřichov) - green trail, about 500 metres, easy route
• The trail continues over Vysoký hřeben all the way to Hašlerova chata

• The same route is followed by the southeastern branch of the Jizera Magistrale, a cross-country ski trail opened in December 2017
• Weberova chata at the summit has been closed to visitors since 2014
• Half a kilometre from the summit, on the southern slope, the Harcovský stream has its source, feeding the Harcov reservoir near Liberec

The mountain was formerly known by its German name, Weberberg - a piece of history still echoed in the name of the summit hut.
