Holubník (1071 m a.s.l.) is a distinctive summit along the Hejnice Ridge in the Jizera Mountains — a place where granite rocks push through the treeline and reward you with a full panoramic view in every direction. It is a modest but characterful peak, offering genuine solitude and a wild, slightly melancholic mountain atmosphere.

At the very top, a roughly ten-metre granite rock formation awaits — not the easiest to climb, but offering a full 360-degree view. The surrounding forest bears visible scars from industrial emissions that once devastated the original mixed woodland. What remains today are weathered stands of spruce and rowan, giving the landscape a raw, almost eerie character. The ridge itself shows distinct stepped terraces, and around the summit you can spot fascinating granite weathering formations. In summer it is a quiet, green retreat; in autumn the rowan trees blaze orange against the grey stone.

• A tourist shelter at Sedlo Holubníku saddle makes a convenient rest stop.
• About 200 m north of the saddle, beside the green-marked trail, stands the 'White Death' memorial, commemorating a reckless sledging expedition by three men in 1909.
