This stretch of the famous German Unity Trail is a real treat for anyone who loves the Ore Mountains and a peaceful, forested walk away from the crowds. The route connects the charming town of Seiffen, known for its traditional wooden toy craftsmanship, with Fichtelberg (1215 m) - the highest peak of eastern Germany.

The hike leads through the scenic hills and forests of the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains), passing small villages, viewpoints and areas steeped in the region's mining history.
