Klikvová louka is a small but ecologically remarkable nature reserve in the Jizera Mountains, tucked into a saddle between the Josefův Důl reservoir and the village of Bedřichov. It protects a fragment of an extensive raised bog with rare wetland plant communities rarely found elsewhere in the region.

The landscape here is shaped by waterlogged spruce forest, peat meadows and stands of dwarf mountain pine, giving the whole area a wild, untouched character. In spring and summer the bog turns green with mosses and marsh grasses, in autumn rusty peatland colors take over, and in winter the place lies quiet under snow. It's a spot where you can truly feel the wilder side of the Jizera Mountains.

Klikvová louka is also the source area of the Bílá Nisa stream, adding to its natural significance.

In the early 20th century peat was mined here, and the resulting pit was converted in 1908 into a reservoir that powered machinery at a glassworks in Bedřichov — a surprising industrial past for such a quiet bog today.
