Zelený vrch is a quiet, atmospheric peak in the Jizera Mountains, wrapped between two rivers and sitting close to the Souš reservoir. It's a place where nature and history meet - nearby lie the remains of the infamous Desná Dam, destroyed in a catastrophic flood over a century ago.

The hill rises between the Černá Desná valley to the east and the Bílá Desná to the west, forming a natural landmark within the range. To the northwest, you get views toward Jizera, the second-highest peak of the Czech side of the mountains. In summer the surrounding forests are lush and green, while winter transforms the approach into a peaceful, snow-covered trail far from the crowds.
