Zbynský vrch is a small volcanic hill tucked away in a quiet corner of northern Bohemia, not far from the town of Doksy. It's a great pick for hikers who enjoy peaceful walks and pleasant views without the crowds.
The summit itself is wooded and offers no view, but that's easily solved - just walk to the edge of the forest, where lovely panoramas open up over the Ralská pahorkatina hills, the Kokořínsko region and the České středohoří mountains. The terrain is gentle and easy to walk, making it enjoyable in any season - lush green in spring and summer, colorful in autumn, and calm and quiet in winter.
How to reach the summit
Zbynský vrch belongs to the Dokeská pahorkatina within the wider Ralská pahorkatina range, and its gentle slopes near the village of Zbyny make it an ideal destination for an easy walk paired with lovely views of the Central Bohemian landscape.
