Schaufelspitze rises to 3332 m in the Stubai Alps of Tyrol, offering a rewarding alpine summit that combines glacier views with genuine mountaineering character. It's a fantastic goal for experienced hikers wanting a true high-alpine experience without an overly long approach.

From the top, you're treated to sweeping views over the Stubai Glacier and the surrounding wall of three-thousanders. The terrain is rocky and rugged, typical of the high Stubai Alps - in summer the exposed rock stands out against patches of snow, while in winter the whole massif is blanketed in white, drawing ski mountaineers as well as climbers. The atmosphere up here feels wonderfully wild, yet the nearby cable car keeps the approach surprisingly manageable.
