Mittagskogel, also known as Kleiner Pölven, is the lower of the two summits of Pölven, a distinctive mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps in Austria's Tyrol region. Rising above the Inn Valley, it offers gentle, rounded slopes typical of the so-called grass mountains that characterize this part of the Alps.

The landscape here shifts from beech and mixed forests on the lower slopes to alpine meadows and pastures higher up. In summer, hiking trails wind through scenic clearings and traditional alpine huts, while in winter the wider region transforms into one of Tyrol's largest ski areas. From the summit, hikers are rewarded with views over the Inn Valley, the Inntal motorway, and neighboring peaks such as Hohe Salve.

Though less frequented than some of its more famous neighbors, Mittagskogel rewards visitors with a peaceful atmosphere and sweeping views, making it a worthwhile stop for hikers seeking a quieter alpine experience.
