Mała Granacka Turnia is one of those Tatra summits that stays hidden from casual hikers - it's a destination reserved strictly for climbers. Rising to 2298 m above sea level in the Granaty Wielickie massif, it forms part of the Granackie Turnie group.

Together with the neighboring Wielka Granacka Turnia, it creates a large, solid rock massif, separated only by the shallow Pośrednia Granacka Szczerbina notch. On the side of Rogata Turnia, it's divided by the Wyżnia Granacka Szczerbina. This is rugged, rocky terrain typical of the high-mountain part of the Slovak High Tatras - a place of silence, sharp ridges and views appreciated only by those ready to climb.

• No marked tourist trails - the summit can only be reached through alpine climbing, with proper climbing skills and equipment
• Access from the Velická dolina valley or via neighboring summits of the Granaty Wielickie massif

Formerly known as Długa Turnia, its German name (Jenknerturm) honors the first climber, E. Jenkner, who reached the summit in summer 1905 together with Pavel Čižák. The first winter ascent didn't happen until 1959.
