Jelínka is a modest but characterful hill in the Kotelská vrchovina highlands, hidden among dense forests near the village of Všelibice. It's a spot for those who prefer a quiet woodland walk over crowded summits - the top itself is forested and view-free, but the surrounding slopes more than make up for it.

The hill forms part of a magmatic dyke system running in parallel SE-NW ridges, which also includes the nearby Pelousek peak and the famous Devil's Walls (Malá and Velká Čertova zeď). Just below the tree line, the landscape opens up beautifully - to the north you'll see Ještěd, to the east the valley of the Malá Mohelka stream, and to the south the scenic Ralská pahorkatina hills. In spring and autumn especially, the forest around Jelínka has a peaceful, almost secluded feel, with quiet trails rarely crowded with hikers.

• Blue-marked trail running along the western slope, connecting to/from the Devil's Wall natural monument (about 2 km to the north) - easy to moderate difficulty
• A dense network of local paths crisscrosses the hill, and cars can be left in several surrounding villages

Interestingly, Jelínka shares its geological origin with the famous Devil's Walls - the same magmatic dyke that shaped the entire surrounding landscape.
