Tuchlov is a small 19th-century hunting chateau tucked away in the forests northwest of Pňovičky, near Teplice. It's a peaceful destination for travelers who enjoy a touch of history without the crowds of the bigger regional landmarks.

The surrounding landscape consists of the gentle, wooded hills of the Krušné hory (Ore Mountains), once a favourite walking area for spa guests from nearby Teplice. In spring and summer, the chateau grounds are lush and green; in autumn the forests turn golden and copper; in winter, snow gives the Empire-style building a fairy-tale feel. The site is valued above all for its quiet, low-key atmosphere, perfect for an unhurried walk.

The chateau was founded in 1821 by Count August Ledebour-Wicheln, and together with the now-vanished pavilions Belveder and Ladenburg, it once formed a popular destination for spa guests visiting Teplice.
