Perched on a distinctive hill rising from the Rhine Valley floor, the Neuburg Castle Ruins in the municipality of Koblach, Vorarlberg, offer a striking blend of medieval history and sweeping views. Once a formidable stronghold, today it's an atmospheric ruin well worth the short climb.

The isolated hill on which the castle sits gives visitors panoramic views across the flat Rhine Valley and surrounding peaks. The terrain is steep, and the castle walls follow the rocky contours of the hill, lending the ruins a rugged, defensive character.
