The basilica sits on a hill surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Kłodzko Valley region. In every season the setting is captivating — spring and summer bring vivid green hillsides that frame the Baroque facade beautifully, autumn wraps the surroundings in warm colours, and a winter dusting of snow gives the whole scene a fairy-tale quality. Inside, the richly decorated pulpit from 1723, the main altar featuring a late-14th-century lime-wood Madonna figurine, and the ornate side altars are all remarkable examples of Baroque craftsmanship.
