St. Anne's Hill (647 m a.s.l.) is one of the most recognisable landmarks around Nowa Ruda in the Sowie Mountains region — a domed summit that rises proudly above the town and rewards visitors with sweeping views over the Włodzickie Hills. A historic stone observation tower, a Baroque church, and an old mountain shelter all await you here. It's a place where landscape, history, and atmosphere blend seamlessly.

Together with the neighbouring peak Krępiec, St. Anne's Hill forms a picturesque saddle-shaped ridge with fairly steep slopes. The north-eastern flank is draped in mixed deciduous forest, while the remaining slopes are covered in meadows and farmland — a landscape that shifts beautifully with the seasons. Summer brings lush greens, autumn lights up the hillsides with warm colours, and winter offers quiet, wide-open views across the snowy countryside.

• Nowa Ruda (town centre) — yellow trail, approx. 45–60 min, easy to moderate
• Yellow/red trail from Sarny via Nowa Ruda — easy, also suitable as a longer route continuing towards Włodzicka Góra

• The stone observation tower at the summit dates from 1911 — climb it for a full panoramic view of the area.
• A tourist shelter operating since 1903 is located just below the summit — a great spot for rest and refreshments.
• The peak counts towards two hiking badges: 'Crown of Nowa Ruda' and 'Peaks and Towers of the Włodzickie Hills'.
