Przełęcz pod Jaworową Kopą is a scenic mountain pass tucked into the heart of the Śnieżnik Massif, where forest trails cross through spruce woods and a hidden meadow shelters rare plant species. It's a natural spot to pause on a longer hike and take in the surrounding peaks.

The pass forms a shallow saddle with gentle slopes but fairly steep approaches, sitting between the summits of Czarna Góra (1205 m) and Jaworowa Kopa (1138 m). The surrounding spruce forest of the upper montane zone gives the place a wild, mountain character - especially atmospheric in winter under snow, or in autumn when the valleys below turn golden. From the area around the pass, a panorama opens up over the neighbouring valleys and peaks of the Śnieżnik Massif, making it a popular stop for hikers following the ridge trails.

How to get to the viewpoint

• Złoty Stok - red trail via Puchaczówka Pass, continuing towards Śnieżnik, a demanding long-distance route
• Międzygórze - green trail via Puchaczówka Pass towards Lądek-Zdrój, a moderate route

Practical information

• The pass is a junction of forest roads and marked hiking trails, making it a useful orientation point
• A small forest meadow at the centre of the pass is protected due to rare and endangered plant species growing there

Despite its modest elevation, the pass is an important trail junction in the Śnieżnik Massif, linking routes from Międzygórze, Złoty Stok, and Lądek-Zdrój.
