Smrekowiec (1,123 m a.s.l.) is a forested peak nestled in the Śnieżnik Massif of the Sudeten Mountains, tucked between the valleys of the Wilczka and Bogoryja rivers. Quiet, wild and a little off the beaten track, it offers a genuine taste of Sudeten nature within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park.

The summit rises as a clear high point to the west of Żmijowiec, separated from it by a narrow rocky gorge that adds a touch of drama to the terrain. The slopes are draped in spruce forest typical of the lower and upper montane zones, though the very top still bears the marks of a widespread forest dieback that struck in the 1980s. Rocky outcrops of Śnieżnik gneiss and mica schist emerge from the hillsides above the valleys, giving the mountain its rugged, textured feel. In winter, the area comes alive as a peaceful skiing destination, with marked trails leading down to the nearby resort town of Międzygórze.
