Magurské sedlo sits at 949 metres above sea level in the main ridge of the Spišská Magura mountains, serving as a natural gateway between two distinct landscapes — the Podtatranská basin to the south and the Zamagurie region to the north. This quiet mountain pass has welcomed travellers for centuries and still rewards those who seek it with genuine Carpathian mountain atmosphere.

The pass separates two sub-ranges of the Spišská Magura: Repisko to the southwest and Veterný vrch to the northeast, flanked by the summits of Javor (942.5 m) and Spádik (1,088 m). The surroundings are forested and peaceful, with the landscape shifting beautifully through the seasons — fresh and green in spring, lush in summer, golden in autumn, and quietly snow-covered in winter. The watershed here is tangible: the Ščerbová stream rises on the western slope, while the Toporský stream flows east toward the Poprad river.
