Špičiak (1051 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, off-the-beaten-path summit in the Spišská Magura range of northern Slovakia, rewarding those who seek it out with sweeping views across several mountain ranges at once. Sitting above the village of Toporec, roughly 14 km west of Stará Ľubovňa, it offers a genuine sense of solitude rarely found on more popular peaks.

The summit is covered with a sparse, open woodland that parts in just the right places to reveal spectacular panoramas. On a clear day you can pick out the High Tatras, the Belianske Tatras, the eastern Low Tatras, the Levoča Hills, Čergov, parts of the Orava Beskids and numerous peaks across the nearby Polish border. The terrain is gentle rolling ridge country — enjoyable in summer greenery and especially beautiful in autumn when the surrounding forests blaze with colour.

• Toporecké sedlo (roadside saddle) — blue trail running north along the ridge towards Zbojnícky stôl and Vyšné Ružbachy; branch off onto the southern spur leading to Špičiak; moderate difficulty, no marked trail on the final approach.

• There is no marked hiking trail to the summit itself — the final section requires independent navigation and basic off-trail experience.
• The blue-marked ridge trail passing through the junction 'Pod Zbojníckym stolom' is the most convenient access route.

Špičiak sits in the catchment of the Poprad river — eastern and southern slopes drain into Krížny potok, while the western slopes are drained by Toporský potok, giving this quiet corner of the Magura its own distinct, unhurried character.
