The Bóbr Valley Landscape Park is a hidden gem of Lower Silesia, where the Bóbr River carves its way through scenic gorges flanked by forested hills, castle ruins and rocky outcrops. Covering nearly 11,000 hectares across several municipalities including Jelenia Góra, Wleń and Lwówek Śląski, the park blends mixed and deciduous forests with narrow river valleys and striking rock formations. The highest point within the park boundary is Siedlęcinka at 495 m, while the surrounding buffer zone reaches 505 m at Wapienna. Every season brings a different mood — golden autumn colours lighting up the valley, cool beech shade in summer, and a raw, dramatic atmosphere around the Pilchowice dam in winter.
