Vraní skály is a striking group of sandstone rock towers tucked into the easternmost corner of the Lužické hory Protected Landscape Area, near Horní Sedlo by Hrádek nad Nisou. It's a place where climbing history and rugged rock scenery come together, making it a rewarding stop for climbers and hikers alike.

The most famous formation is Fellerova věž, regarded as the most valuable climbing tower in the entire Lužické hory range. Around it rise the Šachtové věže, Krkavec, Krkavcová, Krkavčí hnízdo, Hruška and Malá hruška, each with its own shape and character. The towers stand above Krásný důl, surrounded by forest that gives the area a quiet, almost mysterious mood, especially in autumn or early morning mist.

• Alternatively approach from Popova skála or Horní skály, both roughly 1 km away

• Fellerova věž alone offers 24 marked climbing routes graded IV to VIIc UIAA
• Nearly ninety climbing routes are marked across the whole group, ranging from easy to grade VIII UIAA
• The terrain includes steep, exposed rock faces, so care is needed when moving close to the towers

The first ascent of Fellerova věž was made in 1894 using a rope ladder, while the true climbing first ascent followed only ten years later. The sandstone here is unusually hard, reinforced by basalt intrusions that also created the distinctive cracks running through the rock.
