Vlčí Hora (892 m a.s.l.) is a modest but rewarding summit in the eastern Ore Mountains (Krušné hory), just above the village of Dlouhá louka. Its main draw is a lookout tower that offers one of the best panoramic views near Litvínov for very little effort.
The surrounding landscape is classic Ore Mountains terrain — gentle, forested slopes that feel peaceful and quiet in every season. In winter, the area transforms into a cross-country skiing destination, since a groomed ski trail (a branch of the Krušnohorská ski magistrale) runs right over the summit. From the tower's viewing platform you can admire Loučná and other Ore Mountain peaks to the west, the Most Basin to the south, and on clear days even the hills of the České Středohoří to the southeast, including Milešovka, the range's highest peak, 23 km away.
How to reach the summitIt's a perfect quick outing — a short, easy climb rewarded with a view stretching all the way to the highest peak of the České Středohoří.
