Prosíčská horka (408 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forested hill hidden within the former Ralsko military training area, carrying a history that sets it apart from ordinary hiking hills. If you're drawn to places where nature has slowly reclaimed a military past, this summit offers a genuinely different kind of hike.

The hill forms an elongated ridge-like dome stretching WNW-ESE, shaped by a hard basalt vein exposed from Cretaceous sandstones. It's covered in mixed forest, with numerous sandstone terraces scattered through the surrounding valleys. Between the trees, glimpses open up toward the Ještěd Ridge and the Podještědí region. From the 1960s to the 1990s, the summit served as an aerial gunnery range for the Soviet army, making it the most heavily affected area in the entire Ralsko military zone in terms of unexploded ordnance.

• From Jabloneček (accessible by paved road, cycle route 241) - follow the forest road climbing past the hill toward Horní Rokytá and Mukařov, about 1 km from the village, easy route

• The area underwent partial pyrotechnic clearance but is still not considered fully safe - stick to marked roads and paths
• An enclosed game reserve called Prosíčka lies east of the hill
• The Ralsko Ra 1 solar power plant occupies much of the valley terrace south of Jabloneček

The hill takes its name from the vanished village of Prosíčka, which once stood 650 metres to the southeast - one of many settlements erased during the decades when Ralsko served as a closed military zone.
