Jezovská horka is a modest but charming hill near Kuřívody, perfect for travelers who enjoy combining an easy walk with a bit of local history. Standing at just 400 m above sea level, its summit hides traces of past quarrying activity and views you wouldn't expect from such a low peak.

The whole hilltop is covered with beech and oak forest mixed with pine, and its surface is marked by a system of abandoned quarries that give the place a slightly mysterious feel. From the northern slope you get a view over part of the Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj), while other spots offer glimpses of Ještěd and the Židlov game reserve. The forest is quiet, broken only by rustling leaves - a great escape from crowds, especially in autumn when the beech woods turn golden and copper.
