Ostrá horka (552 m a.s.l.) is a modest but charming hill in the Liberec district, tucked away about 0.5 km northwest of the village of Rozstání. It's a great pick for travelers who want a quiet, off-the-beaten-path escape into nature rather than a crowded tourist trail.

The hill belongs to the Ralská pahorkatina range, specifically the Zákupská pahorkatina subrange and the Kotelská vrchovina area. The landscape here is typical of northern Bohemia — gentle wooded slopes, mixed forest, and a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to disconnect from everyday noise. In spring and summer the surroundings turn lush and green, autumn paints the slopes in warm colors, and in winter a blanket of snow gives the whole area a quiet, fairy-tale feel.

How to reach the summit

• Dolení Paseky (closest point reachable by car, south of the hill) — no official trail leads to the top, so reaching the summit requires some off-trail navigation
• Hoření Paseky — a green-marked hiking trail runs along the western side of the hill toward Dolení Paseky

• There is no official path to the very summit — reaching the top means leaving the marked trail
• The surrounding area also administratively belongs to the municipality of Světlá pod Ještědem
