Černá hora is a quiet, unassuming peak tucked into the Ještěd Nature Park, best known for a curious quirk — it actually has two summits, and even cartographers can't agree on which one truly counts as the highest point. It's the kind of place that rewards those seeking peace over panoramas.

As the highest point of the Kryštofovy hřbety (Kryštof Ridges), Černá hora is cloaked in forest that gives it a hushed, sheltered atmosphere year-round. The two summits sit just 300 metres apart, separated by a shallow saddle roughly 15 metres deep. In summer the woods offer cool shade, while autumn brings a warm palette of colour to the ridge. The terrain is gentle and undemanding, making it a great option for a relaxed walk or a warm-up hike before something more challenging.
