Třemešek Castle is a hidden Renaissance gem tucked away in the small hamlet of Králec, near Dolní Studénky in the Šumperk district. What makes it truly special is its stunning entrance portal from 1587 — adorned with figurative bas-reliefs including portraits of the noble Bukůvka couple — considered one of the finest Renaissance monuments of its kind in Moravia. After a major restoration in 2018–2020, the castle is ready to be rediscovered.

The castle sits in a peaceful, green corner of the Eastern Sudetes foothills, surrounded by what remains of a romantic English-style park. In summer the lush greenery frames the historic façade beautifully, while autumn transforms the park into a tapestry of gold and red. There is a distinctly nostalgic, slightly melancholic atmosphere here — layers of history ranging from Renaissance noblemen to 20th-century industrial ambitions linger in every stone.
