Situated in the Liberec Region, just 16 km south of Liberec and 6 km northwest of Turnov, the castle and its 23-hectare park are remarkably easy to reach. The park is laid out in the classic 'patte d'oie' (goose foot) pattern — three axes radiating from the castle. The central axis leads to a grand orangery, the right axis follows a stunning avenue of pyramidal oaks continuing as a lime-tree alley known as the 'Rohanka', and the left axis takes you to the romantic ruin called Arthur's Castle, with views over the Mohelka valley. Spring brings blossoms, autumn paints the park gold, and even a winter visit feels magical with the castle towers rising through the mist.
