Waldbühne Schwarzenberg is Saxony's largest open-air stage and one of the biggest amphitheatres in Germany, holding up to 15,000 spectators. Carved from granite in an old quarry, it blends rugged natural scenery with a long history of legendary concerts.

The venue sits in Rockelmannpark on the slope of the Rockelmann hill, tucked into the forest, which gives it a surprisingly intimate feel despite its size. Stone tiers and 174 steps rise up the hillside, creating the impression of a theatre carved straight into the rock. In summer the place comes alive with concerts and festivals, while in quieter months it offers a peaceful walk with green views over the Ore Mountains.
