Schaffgotsch Palace in Cieplice is one of the most impressive residences in Lower Silesia — its facade stretches 81 metres and makes a striking impression from afar. This is a place where noble history, baroque and classicist craftsmanship, and the calm of a nearby spa park all come together.

The palace stands right in the heart of Cieplice-Zdrój, between Piastowski Square and the Spa Park, making it a natural stop on any visit to the resort town. The surroundings are intimate and green — especially in spring and summer, when the nearby park comes alive and the palace's classicist facade glows in the sunlight. In autumn and winter the place takes on a more nostalgic, picturesque character, perfect for a quiet stroll around the area.

Fun fact: the facade is decorated with cartouches bearing the Schaffgotsch family coat of arms, flanked by female statues — a detail worth spotting during your walk around the square.
