Śląskie Kamienie (1414 m a.s.l.) is a granite ridge summit in the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains) that sits right on the Polish-Czech border — a place where two countries, two national parks, and a sweeping mountain panorama all meet in one spot. Rugged rock outcrops emerging from dwarf pine scrub give the summit a wild, authentic feel.

The peak sits roughly halfway between Petrova bouda and Czarna Przełęcz (Black Pass) and, together with the neighbouring České kameny to the west, forms a broad high-ridge culmination. The summit itself is blanketed in dwarf mountain pine, while the slopes below transition into upper-montane spruce forest. In winter the ridge is snow-covered and exposed to strong winds; in summer it rewards walkers with long views along the entire Silesian Ridge; in autumn the dwarf pine turns golden and rolling mists add a moody atmosphere that is hard to forget.

Local legend tells of a young girl who died on these rocks — giving the summit its Czech name Dívčí kameny and German name Mädelsteine, both meaning 'Maiden Stones'. It is a small mystery that makes pausing here feel like more than just ticking off an elevation.
