The Mimoň Town Museum occupies a former hospital building from 1679, tucked away in the quiet fourth district of the town. It's a small but charming stop that brings the local history of the Českolipsko region to life, perfect for travelers exploring the area on foot.

Standing guard in front of the entrance is a sandstone statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1749, adding a touch of old-world character to the courtyard. The building itself has quite a story - surviving a devastating town fire in 1806, later serving as clergy housing, a school, and even a library, before a major reconstruction between 2009 and 2010 turned it back into a museum. The surrounding area, part of a restored complex with the Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre, has a calm, contemplative atmosphere that makes it a pleasant break during a walk through town.
