If you're looking for a piece of Baroque history tucked away among the hills of Opole Silesia, the Church of the Holy Trinity in Opawica is worth adding to your hiking route. It's a small but remarkably charming church with a rich history and unique interior that will surprise even seasoned travelers.

Built between 1701 and 1706 in Baroque style, the church retains the atmosphere of past eras - thick walls, a tower added after a mid-18th-century fire, and an interior full of Rococo details create a place where time seems to slow down. The area around Opawica is quiet, rural borderland between Poland and the Czech Republic, offering peace and quiet on lightly used trails throughout the year. In summer, the surrounding green hills invite longer walks, in autumn the nearby forests glow with color, and in winter snow gives the whole area a fairy-tale character.
