Zámecký vrch (934 m a.s.l.) is a distinctive dome-shaped summit rising clearly above its surroundings on the north-eastern edge of the Medvědská hornatina range in the Hrubý Jeseník mountains of the Czech Republic. It combines dense forest, striking rock formations and the atmospheric ruins of Koberštejn Castle — all within a single easy outing.

Almost the entire hill is covered by continuous woodland, and near the summit the trees are relatively low-growing, allowing partial views — especially southward toward the highest peaks of the Medvědská hornatina. A prominent rock formation on the western slope is visible from a considerable distance and makes for a great photo stop. The Black Opava river winds around much of the hill's base, adding to its natural character. In winter the snow-dusted forest feels truly remote; in spring and summer the green canopy is deeply peaceful; autumn brings warm colours that set off the castle ruins beautifully.

The peak lies about 3 km south of the hamlet of Rejvíz and 8 km south-west of Zlaté Hory — useful landmarks when planning your approach.

• From Heřmanovice — green-marked trail crossing the summit toward the former Soviet POW camp and wartime cemetery near the sources of the Black Opava; moderate difficulty.

• Only footpaths exist on and around the summit — there is no vehicle access road.
• The green trail passes directly alongside the ruins of Koberštejn Castle, perched on a rocky outcrop in the north-eastern sub-summit area.
• Near the sources of the Black Opava you will find a memorial site — a former prisoner-of-war camp and Soviet soldiers' cemetery from World War II.

The castle ruins of Koberštejn, clinging to a rocky crag above the forest, are one of the lesser-known but most evocative historical sites in the Jeseníky — a quiet reminder that this peaceful hill has seen far more turbulent times.
