This wooden church in Żabnica is one of those quiet Beskids gems worth a short detour during a mountain hike. Built on a stone foundation with a distinctive double-ridged roof and a small signal turret, it clearly carries the mark of local craftsmanship - raised by village carpenters and residents themselves.

Żabnica sits in a scenic valley at the foot of the Żywiec Beskids, making the surroundings just as appealing as the building itself. In summer the church is framed by green hillsides, in autumn by golden slopes, and in winter its dark timber stands out beautifully against the snow. It is a peaceful spot to pause for a moment before continuing further into the mountains.
