Czumowa Grapa is a modest but charming summit in the Silesian Beskids, where history blends with sweeping views over some of the region's finest peaks. Locals simply call it 'Grunwald' after the monument that has crowned its top for over a century.

Don't let the modest elevation fool you — gentle slopes, peaceful forest, and surprisingly wide views make this a rewarding little climb. From the summit you can admire the massif of Barania Góra, Romanka, and the peaks of the Wielka Racza group. In summer it's a favorite stroll for locals from Milówka, while every spring, on May 3rd, the top comes alive with a traditional procession and open-air mass held by the cross. In autumn and winter the hill turns quiet, with a rawer, more atmospheric beauty.

Interestingly, remnants of Polish trenches from 1939 can still be found nearby — the site where a unit led by Corporal Klein defended Milówka against advancing German forces.
