Kamenná vrata, once known as Brána, is one of the most striking rock formations along the Ještěd ridge. This natural stone gateway has fascinated locals and travelers for centuries, and it still offers a memorable stop for anyone exploring the Ještěd hills.

There's something quietly magical about this spot - a compact but imposing quartzite rock, roughly 8 meters high and 16 meters long, shaped into a natural arch that resembles a gate to another world. The surrounding landscape is classic Ještěd terrain: forested slopes, scattered rock outcrops, and a stillness broken only by wind through the trees. In summer the rock offers cool shade, while in winter, dusted with frost, it takes on an almost fairy-tale look. It's part of the Terasy Ještědu nature monument, so it's worth slowing down and taking a closer look.
