Béldy Castle is an impressive manor house tucked into a beautiful oak forest just a short walk from the town center of Jibou. It's the kind of place that quietly draws you in - a grand old building with a story that spans aristocracy, hospitals, and rebirth.

Walking through the surrounding woods, you can feel the layers of history in the air - this 1100 m² mansion, once complete with a tennis court, a horse track and a beautifully landscaped park, now sits on five hectares of grounds shaded by century old oaks. In autumn the forest turns golden and the walk becomes especially scenic, in summer the canopy offers welcome shade, and in winter the castle's silhouette rising through bare branches feels almost like a scene from a novel. This is a spot best enjoyed at a slow pace, ideal for photography and soaking in the atmosphere rather than a demanding hike.
