Przysłop Cisowy, also known as Szeroka Pass, is one of those quiet corners of the Beskid Mały range where you can truly escape the crowds and enjoy the peace of a forested mountain saddle. Sitting at 795 m between Cisowe Grapy and Wielka Góra (Kocierz), it doesn't offer sweeping panoramic views, but its charm lies in the wild, wooded character and the feeling of being deep in the borderland of two valleys.

The pass forms a natural divide between two stream valleys – to the north the slopes descend toward the Roztoka stream, to the south toward a tributary of the Kocierzanka. The upper part of the southern slopes holds the Szeroka nature reserve, protecting a fragment of natural beech-fir forest typical of the Beskid Mały. In spring and summer the area is lush and green, in autumn the beech forests glow with color, and in winter the pass becomes a quiet, secluded spot appreciated by those who love forest hiking away from the busier trails.

How to reach the viewpoint

• Via Cisowe Grapy – part of the Mały Szlak Beskidzki (Little Beskid Trail) running from Żarnówka Mała through Żar, Kiczora, Isepnicka Pass and Cisownik – the walk onward to Wielka Góra and Kocierska Pass takes about 4:05 h (3:30 h downhill), moderate difficulty
• Via Tresna through Jaworzyna, Kościelec and Cisowa Pass – reaching Przysłop Cisowy takes about 3 h (2:10 h downhill)

Przysłop Cisowy lies on the boundary between two counties, żywiecki and bielski, and the pass itself marks the border between the villages of Kocierz Rychwałdzki and Porąbka. It's a spot for those who value quiet forest trails over crowded summits.
