Vápenný vrch is a small but geologically remarkable hill on the southern edge of Raspenava, where the rock formations tell a story millions of years in the making. Beneath the surface lie mysterious caves waiting to be explored.

The nature reserve covers a 423-metre hill dotted with remnants of natural forests and warmth-loving plant communities. The landscape here is varied - rocky outcrops alternate with woodland undergrowth, and the ground hides subtle karst features. In spring and summer the forest is alive with growth, autumn brings rich colours, and winter gives the bare rock a stark, dramatic character. It's a great spot for anyone who enjoys combining a walk with a bit of natural history discovery.
