The Silesian Beskids Landscape Park is a sweeping forested highland in southern Poland, covering over 38,600 hectares of mountain ridges, dense forests and hidden cave systems. This is where two streams — the Biała and Czarna Wisełka — merge to form the Vistula, Poland's longest and most iconic river. The park stretches across two main ridges: Czantoria and Barania Góra, both blanketed in spruce and beech forests. The terrain varies from lush stream valleys and steep hillsides to rocky outcrops shaped like mushrooms and pulpits. Spring brings fresh greenery and rushing streams, summer offers cool shade under the canopy, autumn turns the beech slopes into a blaze of gold and copper, while winter transforms the park into a peaceful snowscape perfect for snowshoeing.
