Blauer See is a small, striking lake in the Tux Alps, known for its vivid blue waters. It is the source of the Viggarbach, a rapid mountain creek that flows westward through the valley bearing its name before joining the Sill near Schönberg.

Though modest in size - just 0.79 ha - this lake has a special charm. Tucked into the alpine landscape on the edge of the Tux Alps, it offers a peaceful spot away from the busier trails. The Viggarbach maintains excellent water quality along its entire 10.1 km course, making the surrounding nature especially appealing to those seeking unspoiled scenery.
