Belianska Valley is a scenic mountain valley in the High Tatras, carved between the southwestern and southern ridges of Kriváň. Its crystal-clear stream, the Beliansky Brook, dances down from the slopes above, and the valley serves as a natural corridor leading toward one of Slovakia's most iconic peaks.

The lower sections of the valley feel gentle and welcoming, draped in mountain greenery, while the upper part — locally called 'Veľký žľab' (the Great Gully) — closes in dramatically as Kriváň's arms reach around it, creating a wild and rugged alpine atmosphere. In spring, snowmelt fills the brook with energy; summer brings lush colours and the hum of mountain birds; autumn turns the dwarf pines golden; and in winter, the valley transforms into a serene, snow-covered world best left to experienced hikers.

The name 'Belianska' reflects the remarkable clarity of its brook, which rises on Kriváň's slopes and eventually feeds the White Váh river — a small but telling detail that captures the pure spirit of this beautiful Tatra valley.
